Berakhir disini

Di ujung langkah yang dulu kita yakini,
aku berdiri sendiri
menggenggam sisa hangat
yang perlahan berubah menjadi dingin,
di antara kenangan
yang tak lagi menemukan jalan pulang.

Kita pernah menjadi kisah
ditulis oleh tawa, dirajut oleh harapan,
tentang esok yang kita sebut rumah,
dan mimpi yang kita jaga
seolah dunia hanya milik berdua.

Namun waktu, diam-diam,
adalah pemisah paling setia
ia merenggut tanpa suara,
mengikis keyakinan yang pernah utuh.
“Selamanya” yang dulu kita ucapkan,
kini hanya gema
yang tersesat tanpa arah.

Aku memanggil namamu
di lorong ingatan yang mulai runtuh,
tapi yang kembali hanya sunyi
dan bayang langkahmu
yang semakin menjauh dari jangkauanku.
Jika cinta pernah tinggal di sini,
biarlah ia menjadi kenangan terakhir
yang kupeluk dengan utuh,
meski tak pernah benar-benar kumiliki.
Hari ini aku belajar merelakan—
bahwa tidak semua yang diperjuangkan
ditakdirkan untuk bertahan.

Dan dengan hati yang retak namun jujur,
aku akhirnya mengerti satu hal:
kisah kita…
memang ditulis
untuk berakhir di sini.

Mamah 🤍

segala lelah menemukan istirahat,

segala luka perlahan belajar sembuh.

Karena sejauh apa pun langkahku pergi,

pulang yang paling tenang

selalu bernama: Mama. 🤍

Book Identity

The title of the book is How to Speak English Fluently: Tips and Tricks for English Learners. The author of this book is Janet Gerber. This book belongs to the non-fiction genre, especially in education and language learning. It provides practical tips and strategies for people who want to improve their English speaking skills. I chose this book because I want to speak English more fluently, and the title suggests that the book offers useful and simple techniques for learners.

General Content of the Book

In general, this book explains how learners can improve their English fluency in an effective way. It discusses common problems faced by English learners, such as lack of confidence, fear of making mistakes, and overthinking grammar.

The book emphasizes that fluency does not mean speaking perfectly, but being able to communicate ideas clearly. It also explains that many learners fail because they use the wrong methods, such as focusing too much on grammar instead of practicing speaking.
The author also talks about the importance of mindset. Positive thinking and confidence are important factors in learning a language. The book encourages readers to practice English every day, even in small ways.

The main theme of this book is that learning English should be active, consistent, and focused on communication. It teaches that making mistakes is normal and part of the learning process.

Detailed Content of a Selected Chapter

One chapter that I find interesting is the chapter about mindset and beliefs. In this chapter, the author explains that many learners have negative beliefs, such as thinking they are too old to learn English or that they must speak perfectly before practicing.

The author argues that these beliefs are not true and can stop learners from improving. The chapter encourages readers to change their mindset and start practicing without fear.

This chapter is important because it shows that success in learning English is not only about skills but also about attitude. The author gives motivation for learners to believe in themselves and take action.
This part of the book is meaningful because it reminds readers that confidence is key to fluency. Without confidence, learners will be afraid to speak and will not improve.

What I Learned from the Book

From this book, I learned that fluency is not about perfection, but about communication. I also learned that making mistakes is a natural part of learning, and I should not be afraid of it.

The book teaches me to practice English more actively, especially speaking and listening. I also learned that consistency is very important. Even practicing for a short time every day can give good results.
As a university student and a future English teacher, this book is very useful. It helps me understand how students feel when learning a new language. It also gives me ideas on how to teach English in a more practical and encouraging way. In terms of language, the book uses simple and clear explanations, so it is easy to understand for English learners.

Conclusion
In conclusion, How to Speak English Fluently is a helpful and practical book for English learners. The strength of this book is its clear explanations and useful tips that can be applied in daily life. However, the weakness is that it focuses more on general advice and may not provide very deep or detailed linguistic explanations.
Overall, I recommend this book for beginners and intermediate learners who want to improve their English speaking skills. It is also suitable for EFL students because the language is simple and easy to follow.

Finding My True Values

 Page 10

Quote:

There are things you believe you care about too much and you want to stop caring about them.”

Reflection :

This sentence makes me realize that in my daily life I often care too much about things that are not really important. One of them is other people's opinions about me. Sometimes I feel worried about how people see me, and it can make me feel less confident.

From this sentence, I learn that not everything needs too much attention. If I keep thinking about what other people say about me, I can lose focus on things that are truly important in my life. Because of that, I want to learn to trust myself more and not think too much about other people's opinions. This can help me become a calmer person and focus more on my goals in life.

Jejak yang memudar

Asinglah selamanya.
